Jamie oversees all billing and insurance processes at PHA. She is also responsible for keeping PHA up-to-date and compliant with billing industry standards and HIPAA laws. She has been innovative in streamlining our internal work flow and leads our back office operations toward optimal service and performance.
Jamie earned her bachelor’s degree in elementary education and double majored with broadcasting communications from Kean University in Union, NJ. She also holds an MBA in project management from Capella University. She came to PHA having worked in several important roles which required both an attention to detail and ability to see the larger system issues.
When Jamie isn’t working, she enjoys being with her husband and two boys. She loves to run, play volleyball and do strength training. She also loves anything that involves a good cup of coffee. Oh, and did we mention that she authored a children’s book about her father?!
Patient Insurance and Billing Coordinator
Carrie is our multitasking queen who helps us run smoothly with her immensely talented organizational skills and shining personality. She has a wide range of responsibilities to help our office run smoothly. Once you complete your new patient insurance form, Carrie begins the process to check your insurance and get you scheduled with a therapist that best fits your needs. She also assists with patient billing.
Outside of work, Carrie enjoys yoga, reading, painting, running, horseback riding and traveling with her fiance. She holds a BA in studio art, art history, and psychology.

Meredith is fascinated by all things wellness and is delighted to be working with Psychotherapy & Healing Associates after spending time in the early childhood education field.
Meredith is married to husband Zac and has two sons. She is a self-described “crunchy mama in training.” In her free time, Meredith enjoys spending time outside, baking delicious goodies, seeing concerts and reading.

Andrea assists with patient intake, billing, claims filing and general office administration. She has an educational background in Sociology and a professional background in Healthcare Administration.
Andrea has three children and enjoys biking, yoga, cooking, and traveling to her family’s farm where she grows veggies and raises free-range chicken and grass-fed beef.
Kelly Newcomer is the editor of our blog and e-newsletter. She also manages our social media campaigns. Emily is passionate about facilitating communications that connect and help people. With 15 years of corporate communications and marketing, Emily is thrilled to be working in partnership with PHA Wellness and The Postpartum Counseling Center. Her work involves creating bridges between PHA and organizations that serve women and families, and between PHA and companies that employ parents. Her work is bringing PHA’s mission of preventing and reducing perinatal mood and anxiety disorders to a larger community audience.
Emily holds a B.A. in Journalism: Public Relations and Advertising from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She is also an EQ-i 2.0 (Emotional Intelligence) certified facilitator and an associate level certified wellness coach through the International Coaching Federation (ACC, ICF).
Emily is a wife and a mom with three young daughters. Her “Hill Party of Five” has many adventures together: traveling, reading, enjoying music, food, being outdoors, and their life together in Stillwater, MN.
“Teddy” – Emotional Support Dog
Meet Teddy, aka “T-dog,” a gentle, 5-year-old goldendoodle. He is completely hypoallergenic – even to the most allergic and asthmatic folks, and does not shed. His job at the clinic is to help lower the blood pressure of all who enter the West Calhoun office. He is often seen napping, and gets so excited to meet visitors, he can hardly stand it!
